#JustIn: Man allegedly kills 3-year-old, attacks 9-year-old
A man was admitted to Engela Hospital over the weekend after being charged with domestic violence and attempted murder.
According to the latest police crime report, the 31-year-old man assaulted a three-year-old girl, Ingaveuya Ndesheetelwa Tyap, on Friday, throwing her to the ground. She suffered severe head injuries and died at the scene.
He then assaulted another victim, his nine-year-old niece, severely. The boy sustained several open wounds on his head and was admitted to the state hospital in Oshakati.
The police have not yet determined the motive for the attacks on the children, but the suspect is reportedly mentally ill.
