JUST IN: Weapons, cell phones stolen in crime-ridden weekend

A total of 20 pistols and N$67 000 were stolen from a safe at BH Space in Ongwediva over the weekend, according to the police report.

Saturday afternoon, a guest at Klein Windhoek Guesthouse was robbed of her camera, two mobile phones, cash, a credit card and iPad. The total value of the stolen articles is N$118 775. According to the police, the door of the guest’s room wasn’t locked.

On Friday evening, a woman was overpowered by three men in het flat in Rietfontein Street in Kleine Kuppe and threatened with a gun. She managed to lock herself in a room. The suspects left with her iPhone, as well as her car and flat keys.
