Cocaine bust at Oshikango

A married couple was arrested at Oshikango in the Ohangwena Region on Monday after they were allegedly found in possession of cocaine.
Ohangwena Police crime and investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Melanie Mbuuru, said the suspects were arrested for illegal entry into the country and for carrying cocaine, which was allegedly sealed in black plastic bags.
The cocaine was valued at approximately N$1 000.
Mbuuru said the duo is expected to appear in Ohangwena Magistrate’s Court this week.
