Gobabis Toyota, a longstanding family-owned business, has become a staple in the local and national community for over four decades. Founded by the Redelinghuys family, the dealership is currently under the leadership of brothers Theo and Jaco Redelinghuys. The recent appointment of Tati Kamule as general manager and dealer principal marks a new chapter for the business.

In terms of business operations, the leadership team shed light on the day-to-day operations of Gobabis Toyota.

Theo attributes their success to robust support from Toyota SA. Despite facing challenges such as floods in South Africa and the Covid pandemic, the dealership has managed to recover admirably. Theo expressed gratitude to the loyal customer base across the country for their support during trying times.



Community

Gobabis Toyota takes pride in its commitment to community betterment. The company actively engages in sponsorships and collaborates with the governor's office to elevate community standards. According to management, the dealership views its customers as an extension of the family, delivering exceptional service as part of its community-centric approach.

Recently, Gobabis Toyota took a significant step in community development, donating two buses to a local school.

Additionally, Gobabis Toyota announced its sponsorship of an off-road vehicle to be transformed into a Mobile Soup Kitchen, addressing the issue of malnutrition in the Omaheke region. The initiative is part of a collaborative effort with the Office of the Governor, the Gobabis Municipality, and the World Food Program (WFP). The Mobile Soup Van will distribute easily prepared food items, providing vital nutrition to those in need and showcasing Gobabis Toyota's dedication to immediate community needs.

Looking ahead, Gobabis Toyota envisions deepening its impact on the community and fostering lasting connections with clients and staff. The company's long-term goals include expansion and leaving a legacy in the hearts of its stakeholders.
