Nictus back with a bang

Locally-listed Nictus Holdings’ operating profit for the 15 months ended 30 June 2022 surged by 85% compared to the 12 months ended 31 March 2021.

The group today reported an operating profit of nearly N$55.6 million for the period under review, an increase of nearly N$25.6 million compared to its previous book-year.

Nictus’ profit after tax was about N$42.8 million, a jump of 136% from its 2021 financial year.

Headline earnings per share (HEPS), an profitability indicator, rose by nearly 137% to 81.99c.

The group declared a final dividend of 26c per share, 44% more than in the 2021 book-year.

Nictus is listed on the Local Index of the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX) and closed at N$1.75 per share this afternoon.
