Namibia to host 8th ICT summit
News in short
The Namibian government has announced plans to host the eighth edition of the information, communication and technology (ICT) summit, and has issued a call to potential sponsors for the event.
Information ministry executive director Audrin Mathe yesterday said the summit will take place from 9 to 11 September, while a sponsorship breakfast will be held on 6 June to kick-start the process.
Sponsorships will be tiered according to price. The main sponsor package, titled the platinum package, will cost N$110 000, while gold, diamond and silver packages will cost N$70 000, N$50 000 and N$30 000 respectively.
“Sponsors will enjoy exposure throughout the summit, featuring prominent branding, exclusive networking opportunities and recognition as key partners of the summit," Mathe said.
The seventh ICT summit took place last October under the theme 'Re-thinking cybersecurity investment to secure the digital economy and its opportunities'.
