LEGAL EXPERT: The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (Cran) has appointed Josephine Shigwedha as its executive for regulatory and corporate legal services, effective 3 February. Shigwedha is an admitted legal practitioner with a Master of Laws (LLM) and has over 11 years of experience in various aspects of corporate law. She holds a B-Juris law degree and an LLB honours degree from the University of Namibia. She obtained a postgraduate certificate in risk, compliance and governance law from the University of Witwatersrand and completed the executive development programme leadership training at the University of Stellenbosch. She is currently enrolled in the MPhil in business administration with the University of Pretoria.
