Kasi Vibe Festival
After a two-year hiatus caused by the pandemic, the popular Kasi Vibe Festival is back. Taking place at the Sam Nujoma Stadium, the event kicked off yesterday with an old school themed show. It is scheduled to run until Sunday, 6 March. The line-up for the Saturday performance includes Tate Buti, Ethnix, PDK, Skrypt, Yeezir, Shaiya and Skipper Wills. Tickets are N$60 at the gate.
Old School Rewind
Set for Saturday, 5 March, the Old School Rewind will take place at the Windhoek Country Club Resort. DJs on the line-up include DJ Chello, DJ Waxa, MC Cool and DJ Melza. On top of the old school music set, the event will also be complemented with stand-up comedy by Neville Basson. Old School Rewind is backed by Castle Lite and a variety of other brands from AB InBev, including Armani Bay wines. There will be drinks and food specials throughout the night and promotional item giveaways from sponsors.
Friendzy Fridays
The second instalment of Friendzy Fridays will take place tonight at Windhoek Country Club with DJ Morenga and Arthur taking the stage. Friendzy Fridays promises an escape from the corporate world into a relaxed weekend every first and last Friday of the month. Attendees are encouraged to dress in Afropolitan looks. With plunging waterfalls and a great atmosphere, Friendzy Fridays are here to stay!
