Thomalina Adams' story on screen
The Goethe-Institut presents a Cinemaverse screening of the film Namibia's Number Nine by directors Stephanie Constantin and Sarah Lanz tomorrow (12 April) at 19:00.
The film tells the story of the true passion of one of the best soccer players in the Namibian women's national team, Thomalina Adams.
She also made it to the second division of Germany's VfL Bochum, one of the oldest sports organisations in the world best known for its soccer department, a few years ago and while she does face some career challenges of her own, she still encourages girls in Namibia to participate in this sport.
Everyone is welcome to attend this screening and subsequent talk and meet the directors and actors.
