Suzy Eises launches groundbreaking music education programme
Award-winning saxophonist Suzy Eises is transforming Namibia's music landscape with the launch of her innovative saxophone education programme. Designed to make professional music training accessible and affordable, the programme began in January and has already seen an enthusiastic response, with nine students enrolled in the first week and 13 by the second.
Catering to students aged seven and older, including adults, the programme focuses on practical and theoretical training. Eises aims to cultivate a love for music while equipping participants with life-enhancing skills.
“This programme offers more than music lessons—it’s about empowering the community,” Eises said. She envisions it as a tool to foster confidence, discipline, and self-reliance. She is also calling on corporate entities to support the programme through sponsorships, especially for underprivileged students.
