Stage set for launch of reality TV show ‘Save My Ship’

In a groundbreaking leap for Namibian television, the much-anticipated reality TV show ‘Save My Ship’ is set to be launched on Wednesday, 6 September, at The Loft in Windhoek.

The Namibian reality TV show promises to showcase a captivating journey through the lives of ten dynamic Namibian personalities.

Executive produced by Julia Kadhikwa, the visionary chief executive officer of Olive Entertainment Agency, this show is already creating waves of excitement and anticipation.

Exciting debut

With an eclectic ensemble cast who span the spectrum of Namibia's vibrant entertainment landscape, Save My Ship showcases a blend of media personalities, aspiring actresses, fitness gurus, and more. This carefully curated mix guarantees an engaging and often unpredictable exploration of personalities and passions. "This is a pilot season, and for that, all the cast was hand-picked. The goal is for us to develop it into a franchise that can feature personalities within southern Africa as the seasons progress," Kadhikwa explained.

With the stage set for the grand premiere of Save My Ship, the event promises to be nothing short of spectacular. The renowned Loft venue is donning its finest for a star-studded red-carpet affair scheduled for Wednesday.

This event promises glitz, glamour and an opportunity for the public to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars up close.

"I wanted to create a show that would not only entertain but also resonate with our audience," revealed Kadhikwa, the creative force behind Save My Ship.

"Namibia is brimming with remarkable individuals, and this show is a platform to showcase their stories, dreams, and aspirations."

Mark your calendars, as the television premiere of Save My Ship is just around the corner. Starting Thursday, 14 September at 19:30, audiences across Namibia and within SADC countries can tune in to Diamond TV on DStv channel 271 and GOtv channel 20 to witness the captivating journey of these ten personalities. From dramatic confrontations to heartfelt confessions, this reality show promises a rollercoaster of emotions.

For those unable to attend the premiere but yearning to be part of the excitement, Kadhikwa has ensured that no one misses out. The red-carpet premiere will be livestreamed on Diamond TV's YouTube channel, providing a front-row seat to the glitz and glamour for viewers across the globe.

Speaking to tjil, Pukuu Rijatua, one of the cast members, said viewers should expect to see a different side of her on this show.

"You do not get to show everything via social media, so with the show, people will get a new perspective from all the cast. The show details our love lives, friendships and more," she said.
