SPOTLIGHT ON BEST HAIR AND BEAUTY PROFESSIONALS

FIRST OF ITS KIND: Windhoek is set to hold its first-ever Namibian Hair and Beauty Awards (NHBA) on Saturday, 6 April, at The Loft. The awards, organised by Peace Nxube, popularly known as 'Nocky' (photo), will recognise excellence in the local hair and beauty industry, featuring 14 categories, including hairdresser of the year, barber of the year, makeup artist, microblading specialist and nail technician of the year.

Despite Namibia’s vast pool of skilled hair and beauty professionals, the industry has lacked a dedicated platform to celebrate its top talent. The NHBA aims to fill this gap by honouring individuals and businesses that demonstrate creativity, technical expertise and exceptional service. The event will be hosted by Courage The Comedian and will feature performances by Yeezir, Mega and Sally Boss Madam. PHOTO: CONTRIBUTED
