Rundu Easter Festival set to uplift community
'Be a part of our vibrant community and connect with others'
Festival organisers have extended an invitation to the public to join them for 'an incredible week of fun and festivities.'
The Rundu Easter Festival is slated to return from 27 to 31 March with organisers promising an unforgettable atmosphere of creativity and connection among the residents of the river town.
Festival spokesperson, Ludisha Amukwelele, told Namibian Sun the festival will host about 20 stalls this year, including beverages, food, kiddie’s corners, fashion, art, crafts and corporate stalls.
“The addition of soccer and volleyball tournaments this year will add a dynamic and active dimension to the festival experience. One can look forward to not only enjoying great music and entertainment but also participating in friendly competitions as well as bonding over sports," Amukwelele said.
Attendees can also anticipate a range of entertainment options at the festival, including live music performances from various local artists, DJs and cultural performances.
Building a vibrant community
The event aims to celebrate the Easter holiday by creating a platform within the community that will assist participants in building their brands, for entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas through product marketing and sales and for entertainers to showcase their craft and talent.
"We believe in empowering individuals to reach their full potential,” she said, adding that as the event organisers, they look forward to creating a meaningful and uplifting experience for attendees, providing them with a memorable event that celebrates the essence of the holiday.
“We are also looking forward to empowering the youth, building brands and connecting different people,” she said.
She invited everyone to join the festival and to “immerse yourself in an unforgettable atmosphere of creativity and connection. Secure your tickets now and join us for an incredible week of fun and festivities. Be a part of our vibrant community and connect with others.”
