OYO engages youth to tackle serious issues
As part of the Leave No One Behind campaign and with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Namibia and the Regain Trust, the Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (OYO) dance troupe began offering its repertoire on gender-based violence in schools in the Khomas region this week. Next week, the group will tour the Kunene region. After this introduction, schools will have a chance to participate in the Caring Namibian Man photography project in July. OYO is a Namibian trust that aims to create social awareness among young people using the arts as a medium.
