The MTC Windhoek Fashion Week (MTCWFW) has revealed the fashion designers set to showcase at this year’s edition, scheduled for 1 to 4 November at the NamPower Convention Centre in Windhoek.

The runway will be graced by iconic Namibian brands, including the likes of Sirenga by Leone Shimuketa, Zuriel by Luis Munana, House of Poulton and Sitwala.

They will be joined by a host of local design luminaries, such as Moon.Goddess.Design.Studio, Ronialdo Haigomab, Wan Kiamy, Armando van Wyk and Karishma Isaacs, all of whom are set to leave a lasting impression.

“MTCWFW has earned its place as a hallmark of creativity, innovation and style in the fashion industry, and this edition is poised to elevate those standards even further,” MTCWFW director Kalistu Mukoroli shared, adding that what makes this edition even more special is the collaboration with international counterparts.

“MTCWFW has partnered with Batho Fashion Week from Botswana and Durban Fashion Fair, who will host their designers at the event. In return, MTCWFW will facilitate the participation of Namibian designers at events in Botswana and South Africa, fostering cross-cultural exchange and collaboration.”

New dimension

Adding to the excitement, this edition marks the inaugural jewellery fashion show, in collaboration with the Namibia Diamond Trading Company.

Mukoroli told tjil that it's an opportunity to explore the exquisite fusion of fashion and jewellery, bringing a new dimension to the event.

“As the fashion world converges in Windhoek, we invite fashion enthusiasts, industry insiders and the public alike to witness the evolution of fashion and celebrate the rich tapestry of creative expression that defines our industry today,” he said.
