Mo's soulful new single makes waves

Namibian artist Monika Ndeshitala Absalom - better known by her stage name Mo - recently released her third single, ‘Are You Okay’, and it's already capturing hearts around the country.

With its relatable message and mesmerising melodies, the song has struck a chord with fans and music enthusiasts alike. The accompanying music video for ‘Are You Okay’ made its YouTube debut on Tuesday, 13 June, and has already amassed over 2 000 views.

The visually captivating video perfectly complements the song's emotional depth, providing a stunning visual narrative to enhance the listener's experience.

Night filled with music

In celebration of the release, Mo has planned a music video release party at Experience Lounge on Saturday, 17 June. She told tjil that the event promises to be a night filled with music, as she will take the stage to perform her latest hit alongside a line-up of talented artists.

“The support acts include the dynamic Ethnix, the captivating Teqla, the soulful Nally 101, and more."

When asked about the inspiration behind ‘Are You Okay’, Mo expressed her desire to create a song that resonates with people facing life's various challenges. She dedicated the song to those who have experienced hardship and overcome adversity, as well as those who are currently struggling.

With her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics, Mo hopes to provide strength and encouragement to those in need.
