The award-winning artist shared a sneak peek of the documentary's trailer on her Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into her remarkable journey on how she found out that she was nominated for a BET award. She also shared a challenging decision she had to make to fund her trip to Los Angeles. With raw honesty, she revealed: “I took that flight to LA [on credit]".
Nominated in the Viewer’s choice: Best new international act category alongside the United Kingdom's Bellah, Nigeria's Seyi Vibez and fellow South African Tyler ICU, among others, the 28-year-old bagged the award on 30 June.
“I was never ready for this. I am happy to announce that I am dropping the documentary on my YouTube channel on 28 July at [20:00]. Are you ready?”
