KFC Namibia unveils Kentucky Town Windhoek
A bold pop-up experience that’s tasting the hype!
Over 200 of Namibia's top media personalities, influencers, and VIP guests gathered to witness the grand reveal of this one-of-a-kind pop-up.
KFC Namibia has officially brought the flavour and flair to Windhoek with the spectacular launch of Kentucky Town Windhoek, an exclusive pop-up experience that opened its doors on Tuesday, 18 March at KFC Mega Centre.
The VIP media launch was a celebration of culture, creativity, and crave-worthy limited edition menu items, setting the tone for an unforgettable 11-day experience that’s all about “Tasting the Hype.”
From red carpet interviews and photo ops with Colonel Sanders himself to energetic performances by DJ Kandeya and Namibian superstar Lioness, the night was a vibrant celebration of KFC’s bold move to create a culturally relevant experience that resonates with today’s youth.
An unforgettable launch night
Guests were treated to a sneak peek—and taste—of the Limited Edition Kentucky Town Menu, featuring innovative twists on KFC favourites and some exclusive items only available at Kentucky Town Windhoek. Activation zones like The Gaming
Zone and Colonel’s Closet added an immersive layer of fun, while Courage the Comedian had the audience in stitches, closing off a truly memorable evening.
Speaking at the launch, Grant Wheatley, General Manager of KFC Namibia, said:

Kentucky Town Windhoek is open to the public from 19 March to 29 March 2025, at KFC Mega Centre, offering fans the chance to experience an exclusive menu, Instagram-worthy installations, limited-edition merchandise, and exciting games.
