‘On To The Top’ – Manxebe feat. Emtee and Lolli Native

Breaking boundaries and exploring new musical realms, kwaito artist Manxebe dropped his much-anticipated single ‘On To The Top’ on Monday, 11 September. In a remarkable departure from his usual style, Manxebe ventures into the realm of trap, showcasing his versatility as an artist.

Collaborating with South African talents Emtee and Lolli Native, this track, produced by Knife Beats, introduces a fresh flavour to the Namibian musical landscape. The accompanying music video was filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa, under the direction of Seez Radebe, adding an extra layer of visual allure to the song's vibes.

Checka – Gazza

Namibia's artist of the decade, Gazza, made a resounding entrance into spring/summer 2023 with the release of his latest single, ‘Checka’, accompanied by a stylish music video.

Serving as the third lead single from his forthcoming album, ‘Legacy’, the track celebrates fashion as a confidence booster.

Gazza himself came up with the concept, enlisting Spectrum Media for cinematography and Kati Cotton as the stylist, featuring exquisite attire from Stuttafords Namibia and Sirenga.

Released just last week, the video has already garnered over 50 000 views on YouTube, attesting to Gazza's enduring popularity and influence.

“This song is about fashion because I strongly believe that if you look good, you feel good, and it can be a confidence booster. So, if you feel you look good, do not be shy about it! Show it off,” the artist said.

Nakatope – Willy G feat. Yeezir and Don Kamati

One of Namibia's anthems of 2023, ‘Nakatope’ has finally received the visual treatment it deserves. This infectious track has dominated airwaves, online platforms and dance floors across the country. The music video sets the stage for a thrilling party, with most scenes unfolding in the electric ambiance of a dimly lit nightclub.
