Originating in France in 1982, this vibrant festival now spans over 120 countries, transforming streets, parks and public spaces into stages for free concerts.

In Windhoek, the FNCC will serve as the epicentre of this musical jubilee, featuring a diverse line-up of artists. Michelle, Sunrae, Nando Homie, Rencha, Lela, Meno, Dr Tone, Inno, YZ K.L.U and Mahageny will round out the performances, ensuring a day of unforgettable music.

Sounds around Namibia

Swakopmund’s amphitheatre will host its own array of talent. Angel, Asheeqa, Amandien, Hannah and the 8th Octaves. These musical talents will ensure a memorable day by the coast.

In Ondangwa, Sun Valley Entertainment Park will be alive with vibrant beats.

2 Point Ou will energise the crowd, followed by local favourite Vdkei Crazy Boy. Oniipa Boy will combine traditional sounds with modern beats, and The Blaq Squad’s smooth harmonies are bound to be a highlight. Colour and The Band will offer a rainbow of sounds, while Ndawana Ndume and the lively Zunguluke Band will keep the audience engaged with their musical prowess.

Katima Mulilo’s Open Market will showcase a cultural fusion of sounds. The line-up for the Katima Mulilo World Music Day celebration will feature Topsy TN, Kambinda B, Mr. Cool, Toshie Bird, The Mafuta Boys and more.

Admission to all these events is free, inviting everyone to partake in this joyous celebration of music.
