Elevate the aesthetics

Sad Boyz Internationale, a dynamic trap music duo, recently released a music video that epitomises the newfound emphasis on fashion styling. Styled by renowned fashion consultant Nadia Image Consulting and dressed in luxurious Namibian wear from Zuriel by Luis Munana, the duo expressed their gratitude for the transformative experience.

"Being styled by a professional stylist for our latest music video, titled ‘I Thought We Had A Chance’, elevated the aesthetics of the visuals. We are grateful to Zuriel for coming on board, and this is something we would like to continue moving forward with our music videos," the duo shared.

Their sentiments highlight the pivotal role fashion styling plays in enhancing the visual narrative and overall impact of music videos.

Award-winning rapper Lioness, often hailed as the queen of visuals, emphasised the significance of having a professional stylist on board to curate costumes for music videos.

"Stylists are able to dress you according to the theme of the music video. Clothes and style, in general, also add to the message you express in a video," she explained.

The collaboration between artists and stylists ensures a cohesive and visually striking presentation, enabling musicians to convey their intended message with greater clarity.

Conscious effort
