
ART IN FOCUS: Namibian sculptor and printmaker Alpheus Mvula’s ‘Consistency’ exhibition is scheduled to open at Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) Gallery on Thursday, 23 January offering a profound exploration of movement, rhythm, and Namibian artistry. This collection features a seamless blend of cardboard prints, stone sculptures, and the concept of Oongombe, creating a rich visual dialogue that connects past and present. Visitors can join an opening walkthrough with the artist on Friday, 24 January, a kids' workshop on Saturday, 1 February and a closing event on Saturday, 14 February Celebrating Namibian art techniques and cultural significance, ‘Consistency’ invites audiences to engage deeply with its themes of form, space, and continuity.
