TIES THAT BIND: President Mbumba held a meeting with Prithvirajsing Roopun, president of the Republic of Mauritius, this week. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues of mutual interest aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The two heads of state agreed to collaborate in order to ensure that all their institutions function. President Roopun was seeking support from Namibia for the position of chairperson of the African Union Commission.
