#JustIn: Manganese train derails
A train carrying manganese to Lüderitz derailed yesterday afternoon about 40 km from Aus. According to available information, one person died and one man was injured. According to Oliver Morgan from Lüderitz's fire service, his men went to help free the trapped man from the wreckage and took him to hospital last night. There were allegedly three people on the train. According to Morgan, the track was also damaged. TransNamib's spokeswoman, Abigail Raubenheimer, said the company would soon share more information.
