JUST IN: Names of victims of head-on-collision announced

The names of the victims who died on December 30 in a collision with the police inspector-general in the North of the country have been announced. A case of culpable homicide is being investigated against Lieutenant General Joseph Shikongo after he was involved in a head-on collision with his double cab and a sedan at around 01:00 on the Onganwa-Oshikango road near the Indangungu settlement.

The three occupants of the sedan died instantly, while Shikongo was taken to Medipark in Ondangwa. His condition is stable. The deceased are Sofia Natangwe Ananias (22), Frans Pombili Ndengu (27) and Stefanus Hafeni Shahafifange Lukas.
