JUST IN: Leonardville celebrates Christmas

This year, the Leonardville community rejoiced in the Christmas spirit as Uranium One brought smiles and joy to 1 000 children and 300 elderly residents in the village.

Petra Witbooi, chairperson of the Leonardville Village Council, said the community was grateful.

"I cannot begin to describe the joy I felt when I saw the expression on the children’s faces when Santa arrived with the small gifts. From the Village Council’s side, we thank Uranium One for their continued support to the Leonardville community."
