Hit-and-run leaves woman hospitalised

The victim was transported to the Swakopmund State Hospital where she is currently receiving treatment for a head fracture, and is reportedly in a stable condition.

In that incident, a 43-year-old man allegedly lost control of his vehicle, resulting in the death of an unidentified pedestrian. The driver was apprehended, but refused to cooperate with medical procedures, according to the police report.

Meanwhile, a fatal accident occurred on the B1 road about 50 kilometres from Noordoewer, claiming the life of 50-year-old passenger Linus Kornelius Endjala.
