#JustIn: India's foreign minister visits Namibia
India's minister of external affairs, Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, is currently in Windhoek and this morning met with deputy prime minister and minister of international relations and cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. He will also visit the Independence Memorial Museum today and will meet President Hage Geingob this afternoon. Tonight, Jaishankar will be the guest of honour at the unveiling of the Namibia University of Science and Technology's new information technology centre of excellence. Nandi-Ndaitwah this morning thanked the Indian government of India for its help in establishing the centre, intended to develop industry-oriented programmes and conduct research to address the shortage of computer skills in cyber security, big data analytics and e-governance.
