November marks the beginning of the festive season, so it only makes sense that we are getting a few Christmas movies in cinemas.

It is going to be another month full of variety at the movie theatres. You can look forward to monster and bank robber stories. There are also some much-needed comedies, as well as a few action movies on the way. Here is what you can watch in cinemas this November.

Godzilla Minus Zero

The King of the Monsters is back! Following the events of Godzilla Minus One, the story resumes two years after Godzilla's devastating attack on Japan. Just as the country begins rebuilding and trying to find some sense of normality again, a new threat emerges, bringing further destruction.

Wild Horse Nine

This comedy thriller, set shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup, follows CIA agents Chris and Lee. The two colleagues must face their complicated past and present-day conspiracies. Chris's growing friendship with two rebellious students also threatens to turn their visit into something much more dangerous.

How to Rob a Bank

What happens when bank robbers become social media stars? How to Rob a Bank follows a group of criminals who document their daring heists online, attracting the attention of an experienced FBI agent and a brilliant software engineer. As the authorities get closer, the group continues with an increasingly ambitious robbery. How To Rob a Bank has been postponed several times, and I am looking forward to finally watching it.

Ebenezer

Johnny Depp takes on one of literature's most recognisable characters. Charles Dickens's famous story is reimagined as a supernatural ghost story. Depp plays Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly businessman who is forced to confront his past, present and future during a journey that could offer him a second chance at happiness.

Victorian Psycho

This gothic horror thriller is set in 1858 and follows Winifred Notty, an eccentric young woman who arrives at the remote Ensor House. However, her arrival coincides with a series of mysterious disappearances among the household staff.

20 November

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping

It's time to return to Panem! The story takes place 24 years before the events of the original The Hunger Games and takes audiences back to the morning of the 50th Hunger Games. The story follows young Haymitch Abernathy from District 12 as he is selected to compete in an arena where twice as many contestants as usual will fight for survival.

27 November

Focker-In-Law

The Focker family is back, and this time there is a new addition to the family drama. Greg Focker's adult son, Henry, is preparing to marry Olivia, a sharp-witted former FBI hostage negotiator. While Henry is convinced that he has found the perfect life partner, his father, Greg, is not quite as easily convinced.

Hexed

Disney brings a little magic to the big screen with Hexed, a fantasy adventure about Billie, an unconventional teenager who discovers that she possesses extraordinary magical abilities. Her newfound powers send her on an unexpected journey away from her life and into the mysterious witch world of Hexe.

Ghost Soldier, starring Jim Caviezel, and The Further Mis-Adventure of Cliff Booth, starring Brad Pitt, will also begin screening in cinemas in November.

I am looking forward to a busy month, but I am more excited to start watching Christmas movies at home. Remember to check out all my review videos on Instagram and TikTok.
