#JustIn: Amushelelo: ‘By fire, by force’

Activist Michael Amushelelo says the planned protest against unemployment, slated for Independence Day on Tuesday, will go ahead with or without the permission of the police.

The police have not yet responded to their application for a peaceful protest in light of the staggering youth unemployment. The latest example was over 1 000 applicants who stormed a local establishment with the hopes to be recruited for eight available jobs. Video Jemima Beukes
