#JustIn: Omaruru needs more road funds

Officials from the Omaruru Town Council today conveyed their wish to improve the town's only bridge to facilitate smooth traffic movement both in and out of the town. Officials informed members of the National Council Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Housing that not enough funding was made available by the Road Fund Administration to enable them to rehabilitate and extend roads at the town. The standing committee is visiting Erongo, Oshikoto, Omusati, Ohangwena and Kavango East to assess the status of various road networks and its impact on the lives of citizens.
