He doesn’t show his face

Dear Auntie Nangy
I am 30 years old and in love with a man of 38 years. We have been together for two months now but he always promises to come to me but he never shows up. If I call him he is always so sweet to me and tells me he prefers to talk face to face but he doesn't show up! Every time he is only with his friends at the bars and he doesn’t spend time with me! I really love him! Does he love me too?

Answer: 

If I were you, I would not tolerate this kind of treatment, no matter how sweet and kind he is.

I suggest you invite him for coffee in a public place and then tell him how neglected you feel. You do not know what his reaction might be and therefore it might be safer to have yourself surrounded by other people. Ask him if he really wants to be in this relationship because it seems he is not really into you.

Do not start an argument and always remain in control.

Remember, he might be completely unaware that his not showing up saddens and frustrates you.

I truly hope he sees the light and makes an effort to be more considerate and attentive.
