Dear Auntie Nangy

My girlfriend cheated on me. I asked her the reason why she did it and she gave me different reasons - 1. It was a mistake; 2. They were not separated; 3. She wanted him to do her a favour. I do love her and I plan to marry her one day. Can I still trust her because she said she will not do that again – even though she still has his cell phone number? I don’t have any feelings for other women. What must I do? I’m going crazy, so please help me.

Oh dear, what a dilemma.
Only you can decide whether you want to trust her again. Don’t go crazy. Tell her how you feel and that it makes you rather uncomfortable that she still has his number on her phone. I hope she keeps to her promise.
