Weaner auction

The first of 23 Agra weaner auctions kicked off in Okahandja recently. There 663 weaners were sold at an average price of N$15.66/kg. Agra said it was a pleasant surprise after the general decline in meat prices. The highest price at the auction reached N$18.29/kg for weaners in the 200kg category.
