Some of the numerous title holding Namibian boxers, including new WBO World Bantamweight champion Paulus ‘The Rock’ Ambunda, paid a visit to parliament on Tuesday. Namibia will have its largest contingent ever at this year’s Cape Epic which gets underway this weekend.
Namibian cycling, currently riding on a high after its juniors delivered their best performance ever at last weekend’s Cape Argus and the African MTB Championships, will also boast the country’s biggest representation ever at this weekend’s Cape Epic MTB race in Cape Town.
Seven Namibian teams will line up on Sunday morning to tackle the most gruelling mountain bike race in the world. Read more about Nam gears for EPIC showing
