THE 99FM Playhouse kicked off the year with a ‘Meet The DJ’s Cocktail Event’ last week that was hot, despite the rainy weather.

Marco Erasmus definitely brought the heat with his fire-dancing act which added just a little chilli spice to the occasion.

A plethora of designer cocktails soon had tongues wagging and the little room that is all that’s left of the once-vibrant El Cubano, was quickly crammed full as the courtyard became impractical due to the downpour. Pennylane opened for them. Famaz Attak quickly had the audience on their feet and dancing to the
