#JustIn: TransNamib appoints new marketing manager

TransNamib this afternoon announced the appointment of Kendall Swartz as the Executive: Commercial & Marketing.

Swartz previously served as the Commercial Director for Coca-Cola Namibia Bottling Company and brings a wealth of experience to the position.

Swartz holds a BBA Economics (4 years with an emphasis on International Business) from Georgia Southern University, USA, as well as a certificate in Sales and Marketing.

Acting chief executive Webster Gonzo welcomed Swartz's appointment, saying: “The work of TransNamib over the next five years is crucial to the country’s efforts to establish Namibia as the preferred logistics hub in the region. TransNamib’s operations and strategic direction is aligned to Mr. Swartz’ previous experience leading an aggressive sales strategy and customer centric approach."
