Namibian creatives bag multiple nominations at 2023 Zikomo Africa Awards

The date is set for recognising and rewarding creatives at the 2023 Zikomo Africa Awards, taking place on Saturday, 18 November at the New Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, Zambia. This year, Namibia proudly represents its exceptional creative talent with several notable nominations.

In the ‘Best Zikomo Traditional Artist’ category, Sweet Namibia stands as a shining star, bringing the rich and diverse Namibian cultural heritage to the forefront. Lioness, a name synonymous with lyrical prowess, competes for the coveted ‘Best Zikomo Artist of the Year’ title, showcasing her musical brilliance.

Hellen Martin, renowned for her skilful artistry, is in the running for ‘Best Zikomo Makeup/Hairstylist of the Year.’ Moreover, Worthy Purpose, a name synonymous with compassion and dedication, is vying for ‘Best Zikomo Humanitarian of the Year.’

The Zikomo Africa Awards promise to be a night of celebration and recognition where Namibian creatives proudly share their talents and commitment with the continent.
