The Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) will present a week-long exhibition of local artist Joseph Madisia's latest printmaking art project, starting on Thursday, 22 June.
Madisia's work is primarily inspired by an inner creative energy to foster unity and reconciliation and to reform black identity post-apartheid. He says his artwork has also made significant contributions to reclaiming ownership of Namibian culture, building upon the achievements of his predecessor, the late John Muafangejo.
The exhibition will open at 19:00 and a guided tour of the exhibition with the artist will be offered on Wednesday, 28 June at 18:00. The exhibition will conclude on Thursday, 29 June. Admission is free.
